Service is the best. We order at the counter. By the time we get our soft drink, we hear our name called out and we're eating our hotdogs and hand cut French fries. We go at least once a week.

What a great place for lunch! The Hot Dog Cafe was recommended by several local people. The food was delicious. I love a good chili dog, let along with coleslaw on top. Mine was one of the best. Besides the chili dog, I tried the cheese burger. I have not had a cheese burger like this since I was a The Boston Lunch, ages ago. French fries were like the fries my dad used to make. Par fried then fried again before serving I could go on better yet go yourself. You won't be sorry.

The food is absolutely out of this world! I enjoyed my cheeseburger and fries and my husband loved the hotdogs and fries. Although the menu offers plenty of delicious choices, we decided to stick with our favorites. The chili is absolutely the best around ! The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly. The dining area is very clean and so are the restrooms. We really enjoyed our lunch there and are looking forward to stopping by again soon. Oh, they have great tea and even the best kind of ice, crushed ! They are conveniently located between Spartanburg and Greer and are worth the drive from either direction. I don't know what else I can say about this place but that it was very nicely decorated as well.
